POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to join our team in Hungary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing industrial construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, particularly within the industrial sector (FMCG experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, safety regulations, and local building codes.
  • Excellent project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and digital collaboration tools.
  • Fluent in English, and Hungarian
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
  • Availability to relocate periodically to client sites if necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to specified quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment on-site.
