Job Description Overview The Construction Manager will oversee and coordinate all on-site activities for road and infrastructure, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective communication with project stakeholders. Your role Plan, organize, and manage construction activities for road and infrastructure contracts. Supervise site operations, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor progress and resolve technical or operational issues on-site. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and work plans. Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship and materials. Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to senior management. Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. Oversee cost control, resource allocation, and risk management. Implement corrective measures for delays, defects, or non-compliance. About you Bachelor’s/master’s degree in civil engineering or construction management. Proven experience in managing road and infrastructure construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards. Proficiency in project management software and MS Office. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
