Job Description The Construction Manager (CM) is responsible for leading, coordinating, and supervising all construction activities at the jobsite. He ensures that the work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with the required quality standards. Supervise and coordinate all construction activities to ensure compliance with HSE requirements, project schedule, budget, and quality standards. Manage the site supervision team, including Area Construction Managers, discipline superintendents, and supervisors (depending on project size). Ensure implementation of the Site HSE Plan, conduct regular safety walks, and participate in incident investigations. Monitor construction progress, identify schedule deviations, and propose corrective actions to maintain or recover planned progress. Lead kick-off and progress meetings with Construction Contractors; review and approve financial statements, change requests, claims, and invoices. Coordinate all site disciplines (Scheduling, Field Engineering, Quality, HSE, Logistics) to ensure smooth interfaces and timely material availability. Ensure that works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations; oversee inspections, tests, and non-conformities. Keep the Site Manager informed of key events and contribute to weekly and monthly progress reporting. Qualifications Engineering degree with solid experience in large industrial and EPC projects Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and contractors Excellent knowledge of construction execution, HSE, quality, planning, and contracts Proactive, organized, and effective under pressure Strong communication and client-facing skills Comfortable working in multicultural environments Fluent in English and Portuguese (mandatory) Available and mobile for international or remote sites
