WHAT REQUIRED SKILLS YOU’LL BRING:

  • A bachelors degree or Diploma in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years experience if holding a bachelors degree
  • A minimum of 20 years experience if holding a diploma
  • Must have experience in marines and ports
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the UAE
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Experience in delivering construction projects
  • 5 years in a construction management position
  • Good leadership skills

WHAT DESIRED SKILLS YOU’LL BRING:

  • A masters degree
  • Arabic speaking would be an advantage

Responsibilities
  • Provide HSE oversight and enforcement for all construction activities across the project
  • Manage construction activities across the board
  • You will be providing construction compliance of projects to group governance, external stakeholder, and cluster requirements.
  • Manage site interfaces and dependencies across projects and sites.
  • Monitor construction risks, resolve issues and update mitigation plans.
  • Prepare reports to the management for all Maritime construction related matters and present performance improvement initiatives based on current activities, data analysis and forecasting study.
  • Coordinate and manage interfaces between site-based consultants, contractors, supply chains, operational teams, and various project stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative culture between project teams, supply chain and other stakeholders for the betterment of the AD Ports group.
  • Provide strong and visionary leadership, supervision, and guidance to the team, setting clear expectations and creating a culture of accountability.
  • Identify skill gaps and training requirements for the teams to ensure consistent high performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other projects, suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of departmental working practices.
  • Identify and support improvement initiatives.
