Job Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Manager specializing in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of MEP construction activities on assigned projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable safety standards and Saudi Arabian construction regulations. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. Oversee all MEP construction activities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards Coordinate with MEP subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of work Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying critical path activities and managing timeline adjustments as needed Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures to ensure projects remain within financial parameters Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance reviews to verify compliance with design specifications and construction standards Manage safety protocols and ensure all personnel adhere to occupational health and safety regulations and company policies Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and as-built drawings Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams, providing regular status updates Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and MEP coordination plans to identify potential conflicts and implement solutions Supervise and mentor construction teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian construction codes, regulations, and local authority requirements Troubleshoot construction challenges and implement corrective actions to maintain project momentum Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP construction management or related field Proven expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems installation and coordination Strong knowledge of construction project management principles, methodologies, and best practices Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and MEP coordination plans Experience with construction management software and project planning tools Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, track costs, and implement cost control strategies Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian construction codes, regulations, and local building standards Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proven leadership and team management experience Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English Knowledge of safety management systems and occupational health and safety regulations Experience coordinating with multiple subcontractors and vendors Familiarity with quality assurance and quality control processes Preferred: Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects Preferred: Knowledge of international construction standards and best practices Preferred: Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
