WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: * Oversee and direct construction of projects through completion. * Work closely with the Project Management Team, Operations Manager, Deployment Team, Subcontractors, Engineering Team, Logistics Team, clients and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. * In-depth review of projects to schedule and coordinate deliverables. * Ensure monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. * Coordinate and direct the Deployment Team, consisting of both internal labor and subcontractor resources. * Ensure team has proper tools, materials and equipment for successful project delivery and support inventory management. * Ensure achievement of contractual construction commitments. * Daily review of construction progress. * Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status. * Planning to anticipate and mitigate problems and resolve emerging issues. * Support obtaining any required permits and licenses. * Analyze, manage and mitigate risks. * Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM: * Proven working experience in construction management. * Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods. * Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules regulations and quality standards. * Understanding of all facets of the construction process. * Familiarity with construction management software packages. * Ability to plan and see the “big picture”. * Competent in conflict and crisis management. * Leadership and human resources management skills. * Excellent time and project management skills. * BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field preferred, not required. YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical environment requires the employee to work inside. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
