Construction Manager – Major Projects (NSW)
Play a Key Role in Sustaining Australia’s Infrastructure
Freyssinet Australia is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the delivery of major remedial projects across NSW. This role sits within our Major Projects division, where we focus on preserving and strengthening existing infrastructure, including facade upgrades, bridge repairs, and civil remediation on steel and concrete structures. With project values ranging from $20M - $50M, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to the longevity and resilience of critical infrastructure.
We are looking for a proactive leader with strong technical expertise, proven project management skills, and the ability to drive efficiency while ensuring safety, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of major remedial projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement construction methodologies tailored to remedial works, ensuring efficiency and risk mitigation.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Oversee cost control, forecasting, and contract management, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
  • Solve technical challenges, working closely with engineers and site teams to maintain project momentum.
  • Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
