Building Manager Coordinator

Please see the details below regarding the Building Manager Coordinator role:

- Position: Building Manager Coordinator (Contract/Temp offers ongoing career growth opportunities.)

6 month contract

rate: AUD $45 per hour

- Location: Melbourne inner west

Requires at least 1 year of experience in building ma

- Schedule: 6 hours a day, 4 days a week (If called out at night, the next day is a half day off)

- Start Date: 21/09/26 or 01/10/26

Your responsibilities will include:

· Following up on agreed actions and keeping relevant OC Manager informed of progress

· Coordinate and supervise maintenance, repairs, and service contractors across all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire, lifts).

· Assist in managing relationships and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

· Ensure compliance with WHS standards, building regulations

· Coordinating contractors, preventative maintenance, repairs and building services

· Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring work is completed safely and to the required standard

· Supporting fire safety, building compliance, work health and safety and other regulatory requirements

· Responding professionally and promptly to resident and stakeholder enquiries

· Coordinating resident move-ins and move-outs in accordance with building procedures

· Proactively identifying operational, maintenance and compliance issues and seeing them through to resolution

· Supporting the owners corporation and strata committee with practical building information and recommendationsEmily

· Maintaining security and preventing unauthorised access

· Managing key registers, access cards and security controls

· The ability to work independently

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in residential building management or a similar property-based role

Strong knowledge of residential building operations

Strong communication and customer service skills

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor of Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • Diploma in Construction or trade-based qualification considered.
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management (desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience in project management within the construction industry.
