THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to join our PTA Radio Systems Replacement leadership team. This pivotal role involves spearheading critical rail infrastructure projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and timeliness in construction activities.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing civil and electrical construction activities in transport or related sectors
- Degree in Engineering or relevant Trade qualification
- Extensive experience in safety-critical environments such as rail, communications, or defense
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email communication
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Construction Team, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule
- Manage construction administration and resource allocation effectively
- Interface with management, engineering, and clients for seamless project execution
- Monitor project progress, both physical and financial, and facilitate forecasting
- Foster high-level client relationships to ensure project success
