JOB SUMMARY:

The Construction Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of building construction projects in Dubai, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects while adhering to local regulations and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Between 3-5 years of experience specifically on High-Rise building projects with main contractors in UAE as a Construction Manager.
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule construction activities to ensure timely project completion.
  • Allocate and manage manpower, including laborers, technicians, and subcontractors, to meet project requirements.
  • Coordinate and procure construction materials, equipment, and resources as per the project schedule.
  • Develop and implement site logistics plans to optimize space and resource utilization.
  • Monitor daily site activities to ensure adherence to the project plan and schedule.
  • Supervise and guide site teams to ensure efficient and safe execution of construction tasks.
  • Resolve on-site issues and bottlenecks to maintain smooth project progress.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure proper coordination between different trades and subcontractors to avoid conflicts or delays.
  • Manage and track the usage of materials, equipment, and tools to prevent wastage.
  • Plan and oversee the mobilization and demobilization of resources and equipment.
  • Ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to keep the workforce informed and safe.
  • Monitor weather conditions and other external factors that may impact construction activities.
  • Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders to ensure alignment on execution plans.
  • Prepare and update short-term and long-term construction schedules (e.g., weekly, monthly).
  • Ensure proper documentation of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection records.
  • Manage site access and security to ensure a safe and controlled work environment.
  • Oversee the testing and commissioning of completed work to ensure it meets project specifications.
  • Ensure smooth handover of completed sections or phases of the project.
  • Attend and actively participate in project meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Provide updates on construction progress, challenges, and solutions during meetings.
  • Collaborate with the design team, engineers, and architects to resolve technical issues raised in meetings.
  • Attend regular meetings to review plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Participate in safety and quality review meetings to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Attend coordination meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to align on deliverables and timelines.
  • Represent the construction team in project review meetings with senior management.
