Description
Prepare requests for change proposals, review Contractor claims and change proposals, and prepare change orders, work change directive or field orders as required. Monitor the Contractor's progress per compliance with the contract documents and review and process the Contractor's applications for payment. Review, analyze and report on contractors CPM baseline schedules and monthly updates. Attend and conduct all related project meetings including the preconstruction conference, project meetings and other related project meetings. Observe all construction activities at key milestones. Conduct substantial completion inspections and prepare project punch lists. Conduct final completion inspections. Provide Record Drawings based on the Contractor's as-built drawings. 10 years of project management water or wastewater pipeline, plant or pump station project experience. Key skills for this role include; project management of design related services during construction, construction management related services, experience schedule and cost management, identifying, analyzing, and providing recommendations for all project issues, ability to multi-task several projects, priorities and possess solid time management skills, develop project management plans, communication plans and develop strong project teams between owners, contractors and designers. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly MS Excel, MS Word, MS SharePoint, and Outlook) and document management software. Preferred qualifications for this role include; 15 or more years of responsible in charge project management, DBIA certified, engineering and construction management experience in wastewater and water process, storage and conveyance type projects. Proven experience in delivering high quality projects, on time and within budget for owners. Having a PE license, NASSCO certification and Certified Construction Manager (CCM) through CMAA are a plus.
