CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical field relevant to the firm’s practices, such as Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology, along with at least 5 years of related experience. Alternatively, candidates with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
  • Willing and able to travel
Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of construction materials testing (CMT) projects, ensuring successful completion within the defined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Manage project execution, ensuring alignment with the contracted scope, while regularly monitoring progress and performance against established plans.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges promptly to minimize delays and maintain project momentum.
  • Develop and manage project proposals, including budgeting, contract administration, and client relationship management.
  • Monitor and control project finances, including approving invoices, preparing change orders, and overseeing collections to ensure financial accountability.
  • Lead and coordinate technical support staff, providing training and guidance to ensure quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication, addressing concerns, and managing expectations to exceed client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, subcontractors, and contractors to secure necessary resources and expertise for the project.
  • Facilitate meetings, track project milestones, and prepare comprehensive reports to communicate project status to both clients and internal teams.
  • Manage resource allocation, including scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting, to optimize project performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining technical proficiency and upholding quality throughout the project.
  • Work closely with the Sr. Technical Team to ensure proper project oversight, particularly at key milestones and critical stages.
  • Provide clear documentation of findings and results, ensuring accuracy in data analysis before communication and submittal to the Project Manager.
  • Adhere to safety rules and practices, perform pre-task planning, and report safety issues or concerns to management.
  • Other duties as directed by your manager or supervisor.
