Position : Construction Operations Coordinator Salary : $1,500 - $1,800 AUD per month Working Hours & Conditions : Australian Hours OVERVIEW: We are seeking a highly organised Construction Operations Coordinator to support the Director across day-to-day project and operational activities. This role will focus on scheduling, contractor coordination, follow-ups, communications, and construction administration. Over time, the successful candidate will take ownership of a larger portion of business operations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate project schedules, contractors, suppliers, and deliveries Follow up subcontractors and third parties to ensure actions are completed on time Manage schedule changes and communicate updates Convert site updates and voice notes into emails, action items, and task lists Assist with inbox management and day-to-day communications Maintain project records and operational documentation Help improve systems and operational processes QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience supporting Australian residential construction projects Experience in construction administration, project coordination, operations, or executive support Strong written and verbal English communication skills Excellent organisational and follow-up skills Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills Comfortable dealing with builders, subcontractors, and suppliers Able to work independently and take ownership of outcomes Success Looks Like: Follow-ups happen without being chased Project information is organised and up to date Communication is fast, professional, and accurate The Director spends more time on-site and less time on administration
