Description

The Construction Operations Manager is a leadership role within the company. The role is expected to support the management of geostructural project scopes, executing the efficiency of project completion, meeting deadlines, scheduling project needs, coordinating daily field activities, project schedules and progress, through job completion.

Responsibilities: Including but not limited to:

  • Management duties to include managing projects for safety, quality, profitability and success.
  • Coordinate daily field activities, to include communication and coordination with subcontractors/vendors/onsite personnel to ensure smooth mobilization and demobilization from job sites, assess and manage jobsite resources and equipment needs.
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for internal project team members regarding construction, regularly reporting on construction progress, risks, and schedule/budget exposures.
  • Communicate regularly to the project management team with project updates such as the status of each project, upcoming benchmark goals, and potential issues.
  • Provide operational oversight on multiple projects to proactively flag any issues that may arise during a project, take ownership of them, and work together internally with field personnel and engineers/PMs to resolve them.
  • Execute project close out activities such as supporting drill logs, daily reports and as-built information being communicated from the field to the office.
  • Work in close coordination with General Superintendent for maximum success of ongoing jobs.
  • Coordinate weekly scheduling for field crews in order to meet client and job deadlines.
  • Recruit, train/develop and mentor key field positions such as Superintendents, Foreman and Skilled Workers to meet growth targets..
  • Participate in weekly operation meetings in order to track project deliverables, address client and project needs, update upcoming job schedule, scheduling equipment and personnel.
