  Position Overview  The Construction Phase Services position is responsible for the coordination of the construction process, ensuring compliance with Baker Barrios quality standards and construction documents. Essential Job Functions •    Coordinate with architects, engineers, owners, contractors and construction managers. •    Attend pre-construction meetings, site visits, and job meetings.  Project locations may require out of town travel. •    Job site observations and monitors the progress of construction activities. •    Prepare field reports and punch lists. •    Research code issues and work with authorities having jurisdiction. •    Coordinate and manage response to RFI. •    Quality Control/Quality Assurance Reviews of construction documents. •    Ability to identify and manage relatively high risk field issues. •    Coordinate, manage and review of submittals and shop drawings. •    Coordinate, manage and review construction change orders within discipline of training and experience. •    Maintenance of client relationships. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics •    5+ years of experience in a Construction Phase Services or similar role. •    Ability to communicate well across all levels. •    Knowledge of codes. •    Ability to work in a deadline driven environment. •    The following certifications/licenses preferred but not required:  Licensed Architect,  ICC Commercial Building Inspector, Florida Commercial Building Inspector, LEED AP. •    Software experience preferred but not required include Microsoft suite, NewForma, CAD and/or REVIT •    Believe in the BBA Mission, Vision and Values.
