REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineer or a related field
  • 5+years of procurement coordinator or project coordinator experience with a general contractor
  • Proven understanding of construction project management principles, processes, and best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
  • Experience with high-end residential and commercial construction projects
  • Proficiency with project management and other software, such as MS Project, Bluebeam Revu, Buildertrend, MS Office Suite or similar
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage priorities under pressure with deadlines
  • Comfortable collaborating with site crews, trades, and executives alike
  • Familiar with construction safety and compliance regulations
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  • Must be able to lift materials up to 40lbs
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle/transportation required

Pay: $74,000.00-$115,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Procurement Coordinator to join our growing team. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting project execution by ensuring safety, timelines, budgets, quality and documentation are on track. You’ll collaborate with the management team and field team to help keep everything running smoothly from start through finish.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with construction managers, supervisors and site teams to support planning, scheduling, and project execution
  • Manage full-cycle procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services in line with project budgets and timelines
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing and delivery terms
  • Coordinate customs clearance, logistics, and freight forwarding for imported materials to ensure timely delivery to job sites
  • Monitor and track material orders, deliveries, and inventory levels, identifying and resolving any supply chain issues or shortages
  • Review project drawings to ensure accurate take-offs and assist in budget forecasting and estimating
  • Maintain organized procurement records, contracts, invoices, delivery logs, and correspondence
  • Ensure all procurement processes adhere to local regulations, industry standards, and company policies
  • Verify subcontractor and vendor invoices for compliance with contract terms and resolve discrepancies as needed
  • Facilitate communication across internal departments, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure clarity in scope, expectations, and updates
  • Conduct periodic site visits to confirm material deliveries and support construction logistics
  • Support the project closeout process, including documentation and warranty coordination
  • Contribute to process improvements and help implement procurement and project management best practices
  • Stay current with construction industry trends, safety regulations, and project management tools
  • Provide daily administrative support to help the team meet overall project goals
