Responsibilities

MORE ABOUT THIS ROLE:

We are currently seeking a Construction Programmer for our high-achieving team. This person will be based in either of our main offices, in a full or part-time capacity.
The purpose of the Programmer is to participate in and interpret planning work and to develop and maintain complex schedules. The Programme is responsible for providing crucial reporting and advising the clients on current outcomes and projections going forward.

Some key responsibilities include,

  • Working collaboratively as part of a team which may include PMO, Project Managers, and designers in the creation of the project development strategy.
  • Liaising with the Project leadership team to assist and support.
  • Assist in the integration of individual schedule into a master schedule.
  • Develop Project schedules and other outputs from concept to detailed using the above principles.
  • Vetting external contractors programme and producing reports of methodology, constructability.
  • Dashboard integration via a number of industry-standing applications i.e. Power BI.
  • Critical analysis methodology and provide suggestions and improvements to works.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need demonstrate:

  • 5years+ experience on major construction projects, in a programmer/ planner/ scheduler capacity.
  • Proficient in P6 scheduling, Asta Power Projects and/or Ms Projects.
  • The role involves working with several project partners at the same time, therefore personal time management and stakeholder communication is a must.
  • Strong report writing skills and critical analysis required both in the technical area of programming but in logic and buildability.
  • High attention to detail and an outcome focused mindset.
  • Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or related discipline is desirable
