We currently have an opening for a qualified Project Accountant in our Kenosha or Milwaukee, WI offices.

SUMMARY

The Project Accountant is responsible for managing the financial aspects of assigned construction projects, including tracking job costs, preparing accurate billings, and ensuring cost projections are up to date. This role works closely with project managers and the operations team to ensure that all project-related financial data is accurately recorded and reported. The Project Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining timely and accurate invoicing, reconciling costs, and ensuring that funds are appropriately requested and allocated throughout the life cycle of each project.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training in the construction industry, preferred but not required
• Strong organizational skills, grit, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders-including accountants, subcontractors, project managers, and owners-throughout the day.
