QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Eligible for registration with APEGNB (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick).
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project coordination or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling software (e.g., MS Project or similar), and document control processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Comfortable working on-site and taking a leadership role in fieldwork when necessary.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our growing team. This hybrid position offers a balance of work-from-home flexibility and on-site engagement, providing the ideal opportunity for a professional looking to contribute across all phases of project coordination and execution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all administrative and coordination tasks associated with construction project delivery and will support the Site Construction Manager or Project Manager in day-to-day operations. This role requires an individual who is not only highly organized and tech-savvy but also capable of stepping into a foreman-type leadership role when required during fieldwork.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all project administration tasks, including document control, scheduling, reporting, and subcontractor communications.
  • Lead shop drawing submittal process, manage product sample delivery between suppliers and owner/consultant.
  • Coordinate the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific project deliverables.
  • Support procurement and logistics efforts, including material tracking and inventory management.
  • Assist in budget monitoring, change orders, and cost tracking.
  • Conduct site inspections, quality control reviews, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment and execution of project goals.
  • Take a hands-on leadership role in field coordination activities, acting in a foreman capacity when needed.
  • Participate in site meetings and support project closeout documentation and turnover packages.
