POSITION OVERVIEW

The Construction Project Coordinator ensures smooth project execution by bridging field operations, project management, and office administration. You will support Project Managers in coordinating project schedules, managing documentation, handling client billing, securing permits, and maintaining financial records.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: 2+ years in project coordination, construction administration, or bookkeeping (concrete or construction industry experience preferred).
  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with construction project management software (Procore, BuilderTrend, or similar) is a plus.
  • Experience with AIA billing forms and basic bookkeeping software (QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalent).
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and excellent written/verbal communication.
  • Work Style: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently while supporting a team.

Responsibilities

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

  • Organize project files (digital and hard copy) and maintain accurate record-keeping systems.
  • Assist in vendor and subcontractor prequalification, insurance compliance, and contract updates.
  • Schedule and support project meetings, including agenda preparation and note-taking.
  • Provide general office support as needed.
