Description

Our company is looking for an experienced construction administrator to help us manage our fast-paced office. We need someone familiar with the construction industry with a few years of administration experience to oversee our cash management, quality control process, and contract administration. $45,000 - $65,000 yearlyResponsibilities:

  • Ensure that the contract document requirements are met throughout the construction experience by overseeing the construction contract administration and submittal log processes
  • Help construction project managers estimate and create project schedules, adhere to proper budgets, and communicate project updates
  • Prepare the closeout package including maintenance agreements, equipment information, warranties, and contractor contact information
  • Supervise subcontractor, supplier, and vendor process by assembling bid packages including, scope of work, bidding process, and necessary construction documents
  • Document accurate job information sheets, work logs of construction activities, and project team rosters
  • Perform cash management, payroll, and billing tasks - prepare invoices, subcontracts, change orders, work orders, purchase orders, and punch lists
  • Enforce quality control process measures that ensure compliance with contracts, building, and code regulations

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in construction administrative support, contract administration, or construction project management is essential
  • Exceptional time management, organization, attention to detail, and communication skills are needed
  • Some college highly desired, but a high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and project or construction management software
  • Understanding of the construction industry and processes are beneficial- including codes, AIA documentation, and safety regulations
