Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects across Southern California. This role is responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through closeout while coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This opportunity is ideal for a project manager who has experience working for a general contractor managing ground-up or major tenant improvement projects. Responsibilities Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through final completion Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and engineers throughout the project lifecycle Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure scope alignment Manage subcontractor bids, buyouts, and contract negotiations Track project progress and proactively resolve schedule or cost issues Conduct regular project meetings with internal teams and external partners Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications Oversee change orders, RFIs, and submittals Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management Experience working for a general contractor preferred Background managing ground-up construction or large tenant improvement projects Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and project controls Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience coordinating with subcontractors and field teams Strong communication and leadership skills Health insurance options 401(k) retirement plan with potential employer matching Paid Time Off (PTO) and company-recognized holidays Professional development and leadership growth opportunities
