Description
We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope. The position supports a general contractor working across a range of commercial projects, including ground-up and interior build-outs. This is a strong fit for someone who can balance field coordination with financial and operational oversight. Responsibilities Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient execution Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents Track project financials, including change orders, billing, and cost control Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality standards Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation throughout the lifecycle Communicate project updates with clients, leadership, and stakeholders Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and field-related challenges Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients 5+ years of experience in construction project management Experience working for a general contractor on commercial projects Strong understanding of ground-up construction and/or interior build-outs Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors Familiarity with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar) Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Competitive salary based on experience.
