Description
We are looking for a hands-on Plumbing Project Manager to oversee plumbing construction projects from planning through completion. This role is highly field-oriented and requires a leader who is actively present on job sites, managing crews and driving daily progress. The position focuses on supervising field operations, coordinating teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope. This is a strong fit for someone with a superintendent-style background and deep plumbing expertise. Responsibilities Manage plumbing construction projects from preconstruction through final completion Lead and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and on-site personnel Maintain a consistent presence on job sites to monitor progress and resolve issues in real time Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment Review construction drawings, specifications, and scope requirements Track project budgets, costs, and production to ensure profitability Communicate regularly with clients, general contractors, and internal teams Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and company standards Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders as needed Identify and resolve field challenges to keep projects on schedule 5+ years of experience in plumbing or mechanical construction project management or field supervision Strong background in plumbing systems, installation methods, and jobsite execution Experience leading crews in a hands-on, field-driven environment Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and field operations Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with construction software and project tracking tools is a plus High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications preferred Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
