Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager based in Florida to manage commercial construction projects. This role focuses on coordinating project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and communication with field teams and subcontractors while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This opportunity is ideal for a project manager who has experience working for a general contractor managing commercial construction projects, including ground-up builds or large renovations. Responsibilities Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and engineers throughout project phases Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure scope alignment Manage subcontractor bids, buyouts, and project procurement Track project progress and address scheduling or cost issues proactively Lead project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders Oversee RFIs, submittals, and change orders Maintain consistent communication with clients, field teams, and subcontractors Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and construction regulations 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management Experience working for a general contractor or construction management firm Background managing ground-up construction or major renovation projects Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and project controls Ability to coordinate remote project teams and field operations Strong communication and leadership skills Preferred Experience Experience with commercial, healthcare, industrial, or institutional construction projects Familiarity with project management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred Health insurance options 401(k) retirement plan with potential employer matching Paid Time Off (PTO) and company-recognized holidays Professional development and leadership growth opportunities
