What you’ll be doing: You’ll support senior project managers across every project phase, working to the RIBA Plan of Work and ensuring activity aligns with company and departmental quality procedures. You’ll coordinate small work packages or smaller independent projects, engaging with internal teams and external customers to keep delivery moving smoothly. You’ll help interpret multi-faceted customer requirements, support design preparation, contribute to planning and specification reviews, and assist in building financial business cases. You’ll work with multi‑discipline consultant teams, coordinate safe on‑site contractor activity, ensure compliance with CDM and wider regulations, maintain supplier relationships and provide financial control for the work packages you oversee. Core duties: You will have an Apprenticeship, HNC/D or Degree in Construction or Building Services, or equivalent built‑environment experience You’re familiar with construction or manufacturing plant and equipment installations across varied project environments You understand how to work with contractors safely and in full alignment with CDM requirements You’re able to interpret engineering drawings, technical information and project specifications accurately whilst being comfortable collaborating with multi‑discipline teams and supporting clear, consistent project communication You bring experience contributing to design, planning or construction activities within multi-faceted project settings You’re comfortable collaborating with multi‑discipline teams and supporting clear, consistent project communication. The Investment Projects Team: The Investment Projects Team delivers facility upgrades, new buildings, infrastructure improvements and plant installations across BAE Systems sites.
