Benning is looking for an Sr. Construction Project Manager who has experience managing multiple project teams and commercial ground-up construction projects. The right candidate will also have a proven track record of developing project teams and new business. Benning’s core markets are medium to large construction projects in the Retail, Healthcare, Cinema, Grocery, Self-Storage, Fitness Centers, and Upper Educational Markets.

The Sr. Construction Project Manager will provide overall managerial and technical direction for commercial projects and project management teams, ensuring projects are completed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. They will be responsible for devising strategies to increase business in alternative markets and modifying these strategies to drive the business forward to meeting established goals.

• Possess thorough knowledge of commercial ground-up construction from pre-construction through completion.
• Experience running multiple project teams and developing assistant project managers and foremen into future leaders.
• Professionally represent Benning as the primary interface with Owners, Architects, and Engineers
• Ability to develop a high-performance team through recruiting, supervising, training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Effectively communicate, organize, plan and execute.
• Demonstrated history of ability to develop strategies to increase business in alternative markets.
• Competency with computers and various project management computer programs.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in similar markets.
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites across the Southeast (AL, GA, FL, NC, SC, TN, & VA) as necessary (20-25% of the time).
• Experience with ProCore and all MS Office applications (including MS Projects).
