This forward-thinking company specialise in the development, construction and management of grid scale battery energy storage projects nationwide. They have thrived in recent years as the BESS market grows significantly, and as a result they are now looking to expand their passionate team of industry experts to continue on their upward trajectory.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) on site, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget. This will include monitoring site progress, ensuring H&S compliance, and resolving issues. It requires timely, accurate reporting to clients and employers, including capturing site changes, and representing the client in meetings while escalating critical concerns. Projects are located across the UK so nationwide travel will be required.
The ideal candidate will be a Construction Project Manager with experience working on renewable or complex electrical infrastructure. Experience working on utility-scale BESS projects is advantageous but not essential. You should hold SMSTS or equivalent, and ideally NEBOSH.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all EPC activities on site
  • Monitor progress and ensure projects are delivered on tie and to budget
  • Carry out inspections to ensure H&S compliance
  • Identify and escalate any issues to resolve efficiently
  • Represent client in EPC meetings with key stakeholders
  • Nationwide travel and stay aways required
