Description:

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional time management abilities, and a solid understanding of civil engineering principles. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D or similar design software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations is essential.

    we work nationally on projects up to a value of £1m.
    Most projects are commercial and we focus on structural aspects only, internal fit out is generally by another contractor.
    We are a young company, as the company grows candidate may well be able to progresss higher through the company.
    the candidate will have strong knowledge of structural works including, Groundworks, superstructure and joinery works,(generally first fix.)
    The candidate must be have knowledge of building regs, be happy to liaise with building control, clients and structural engineers.
    Assistance with material, programmes/scheduling,labour,and rams will be required along with our office.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £40,500.00-£58,500.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other trades to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Develop detailed project programmes , including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site.
