Description

We are currently assisting with a Construction Project Manager for a client within the GTA. This person will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing construction projects within defined budgets, timelines, and scopes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Willingness to work overtime when required to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Strong communication skills in English (French considered an asset).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in civil infrastructure, municipal works, or commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Excellent negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other project management tools.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Develop overall project management strategies and work with engineering leads and project teams to execute project plans.
  • Oversee day-to-day activities of the project team, ensuring work progresses as scheduled while actively engaging in project execution.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, resources, and project deliverables to ensure clear communication and accountability.
  • Coordinate across multiple projects and collaborate with other project managers and assistants.
  • Plan and prioritize deliverables and resources effectively to align with project goals and scope of work.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks by developing proactive solutions.
  • Anticipate client and stakeholder needs and ensure project approaches are aligned with long-term objectives.
  • Manage client expectations, ensure quality service delivery, and act on feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular project status updates and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership, escalating issues when needed.
  • Identify opportunities for project improvements and process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with technical and project leads to present project progress and contribute to proposals for new opportunities.
