Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to represent the property developer in the on-site management and delivery of residential development projects. The successful candidate will oversee construction progress, costs, quality, safety and project risks, while coordinating with contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved plans, contractual requirements and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Represent the property developer in monitoring on-site construction progress, costs, quality, safety and project risks.

· Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineering consultants, quantity surveyors and suppliers.

· Review construction programs, progress reports, cost reports, variations and payment claims.

· Identify construction issues and coordinate interfaces between design, engineering and construction teams.

· Monitor contractors’ compliance with approved drawings, contractual requirements, the National Construction Code, WHS requirements and applicable Queensland laws and regulations.

· Coordinate site inspections, regulatory approvals, project completion, handover and rectification of defects.

· Monitor project budgets, costs, timelines and contractor performance.

· Identify construction and project risks and coordinate appropriate mitigation measures.

· Report to senior management on project progress, costs, risks, quality and contractor performance.

Requirements:

· Proven experience in construction project management, preferably within residential property development.

· Relevant tertiary qualification in construction management, project management, engineering or a related discipline is preferred.

· Strong understanding of construction processes, project coordination and contractor management.

· Knowledge of relevant construction, WHS and regulatory requirements.

· Strong communication, organisational, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage project priorities and deadlines.
