Description:
Currently seeking experienced Project Manager to add to their expanding Natural Resources team.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and lead construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and adapt to dynamic project demands.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Construction Management is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Conduct pre-construction meetings to establish clear expectations and protocols.
- Budget and Cost Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor expenditures and negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Provide regular financial reports and projections to stakeholders.
- Resource Management:
- Allocate and manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure optimal resource utilization to meet project milestones.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all construction work meets or exceeds established quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues promptly.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, clients, and project teams.
- Provide clear and timely updates on project progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, decisions, and changes.
