Position Overview:
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of various construction projects. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing potential risks or issues to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities, quality control, and safety compliance.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders, providing timely and accurate reports.
  • Manage project budget, expenses, and procurement activities, optimizing costs and maximizing profitability.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Foster positive client relationships, addressing client concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., SmartUse, Procore, Microsoft Project).
  • Bilingual is an asset.
