REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ full-time (or full-time equivalent) experience in a construction project management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant building legislation, standards, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all works are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring efficient coordination of labour, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, work programs, and resource plans to achieve project milestones.
  • Interpret and apply architectural and engineering documentation to guide construction activities and resolve technical queries.
  • Prepare and manage project tenders, bids, and associated contractual documentation.
  • Foster strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and successful project outcomes.
  • Negotiate with property owners, developers, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met within agreed budgets and timelines.
  • Monitor compliance with all relevant building codes, safety standards, and quality benchmarks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Submit required plans and documentation to local authorities and regulatory agencies as necessary.
  • Coordinate the engagement of specialist contractors and oversee the delivery of specialised building services as required.
