As a Project Manager, you will oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with project objectives. Your ability to collaborate with stakeholders, manage subcontractor engagement, and provide regular progress updates will be essential in keeping projects on track. Additionally, you will identify and mitigate risks, ensuring smooth execution and desired outcomes.

• ⁠ ⁠Coordinate all design documentation required for Development Applications (DA), Construction Certificates (CC), and Complying Development Certificates (CDC).
• ⁠ ⁠Review architectural and survey plans with clients and consultants to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• ⁠ ⁠Interpret and review local council and building codes to determine requirements for stormwater systems, driveway designs, and other critical aspects.
• ⁠ ⁠Prepare detailed project schedules and sub-contractor packages to support timely project delivery.
• ⁠ ⁠Assist in procuring subcontractors and materials and allocate resources using Excel or similar tools.
• ⁠ ⁠Manage construction teams by scheduling, delegating, and ensuring smooth coordination between contractors and subcontractors.
• ⁠ ⁠Work with site supervisors on a daily basis to oversee on-site performance, scheduling, and trade sequencing.
• ⁠ ⁠Support workers through mentoring and training, ensuring productivity and team cohesion.
• ⁠ ⁠Assist in the design development with the design/drafting team.
• ⁠ ⁠Enforce strict adherence to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) procedures and legal safety guidelines on all sites.
• ⁠ ⁠Conduct regular reviews of worksite safety and communicate with inspectors about compliance with building codes.
• ⁠ ⁠Attend site meetings to assess safety and building practices, reporting findings to the Director.
• ⁠ ⁠Provide monthly progress updates to clients and track key milestones to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
• ⁠ ⁠Report project status to the Director weekly, including risks, issues, and progress metrics.
• ⁠ ⁠Develop and maintain accurate records of project documents, contracts, and reports.

Assist in preparing project budgets, contractor contracts, and cost estimation statements.

• ⁠ ⁠Submit and track project bids, invoices, and progress reports.
• ⁠ ⁠Collaborate with architects to refine specifications during construction and implement necessary design changes.
• ⁠ ⁠Identify problems early, investigate root causes, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
• ⁠ ⁠Maintain a customer-first attitude, ensuring client satisfaction is prioritised throughout the construction process.
