POSITION SUMMARY

A Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing commercial construction projects from conception to completion. The Construction Project Manager will review the project in-depth and communicate with the architect, submit plans through an established process, conduct preconstruction meetings, schedule contractors, manage budget, and ensure project deadlines are met. The Construction Project Manager must have exceptional organizational skills, a positive attitude, work in a team environment, and work well under pressure.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, building construction, construction management, architecture, or a related field, although a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with at least 5 years in managing construction projects of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and regulations, with a demonstrated ability to interpret and apply building codes and standards.
  • Ability in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high quality standards.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, cost control, and resource management.
  • Demonstration of problem-solving skills, adaptability to project adjustments and ethical work performance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial construction through all phases to ensure the delivery of a quality store.
  • Schedule subcontractors and delivery dates of materials.
  • Ensure all building codes and Prime Communications standards of quality are met.
  • Conduct virtual walkthrough inspections and other scheduled inspections with the customer.
  • Communicate safety standards to laborers and subcontractors; enforce safety regulations on all job sites.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Interact daily with various departments of the company, subcontractors, customers, and City inspectors.
  • Meet project deadlines while keeping the project under budget.
