REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager in Public Works
· Experience with Scheduling (Primavera P6) preferred
· General construction trade(s) or Superintendent work experience is preferred
· Strong communication skills, critical thinking, complex problem solving, and ability to work independently
· Experience with managing multiple projects at once
· Experience with Job Order Contracting (JOC) – preferred, but not required
· Experience with DSA projects – preferred, but not required
· Experience with MS Project, MS Excel, Bluebeam, eGordian, ProCore
· Ability to work in an office environment (typing/sitting) and on project sites (must wear PPE)
· Ability to drive on the job as needed for job site visits and meetings; must have valid driver’s license
· OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 certification preferred
· Monitor multiple Public Works construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints
· Confer with superintendents, owners, subcontractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems
· Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet deadlines
· Prepare and submit budget estimates, schedules, progress reports, cost tracking reports, and RFI’s
· Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations
· Negotiate and prepare change orders, close-out documents, and ensure receipt of as-built drawings, warranties, final inspections, and final invoices
· Implement quality control on all assigned projects within all project management activities
