Description

Saybr Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to provide estimating and project management for multi-year government contracts, including job order contracts. Applicant should be able to demonstrate experience in effectively managing public construction projects, including both vertical construction (e.g. tenant improvements, renovations, additions, roof replacements, etc.) and horizontal construction (e.g. asphalt/concrete paving, utilities, roads, parking lots, signalization, etc.).
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Degree in Construction Management OR at least five years of progressively responsible construction experience including experience as both an estimator and project manager.
  • Experience estimating a wide variety of commercial construction projects using both traditional bidding methods (obtaining subcontractor quotes, etc.), as well as using pre-priced construction cost databases, such as RS Means.
  • Experience managing all phases of the construction process, from permitting to final project close-out.
  • Experience building realistic, detailed construction schedules in a variety of platforms, such as MS Project.
  • Demonstrated experience scheduling and coordinating labor, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
  • Ability to estimate and manage multiple simultaneous projects in varying stages of completion.
  • Understanding and demonstrated history of bringing projects to successful completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing superior customer service.
  • Able to develop and maintain positive relationships with project personnel, the customer, subcontractors and other third-party representatives impacting the outcome of the project.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Effective communication skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Possession of a valid Washington State Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Salary will be dependent upon experience, with a base salary range between $85,000 to $100,000. Project managers are also eligible for a generous bonus program based on performance.
