QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Construction Management or Project Management (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of EHS laws and regulations is a must.
  • Knowledge of the NCC and Australian Standards, the Building Certification process, and an understanding of best practices are required.
  • Given the nature of the work, good and effective verbal & written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to write and manage construction programs
  • Local experience in construction management is a must; please do not apply if you do not have experience in the local industry (construction management).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction in ACT, fit-out, or commercial construction experience may be considered.
  • Added advantage if you currently have AGSVA or AFP clearance.
    Please do not apply if your experience is not in Construction Project Management.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
