CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

£55,000 per annum, pro rata
Are you a seasoned project manager with a sweet tooth for construction? We’re seeking a Construction Project Manager to whip up our The Big Liverpool Bake venue. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple contractors. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest safety standards.You will act solely in the interest of The Big Bakes and always have an eye out for cost savings. It is an ideal role for an existing Project Manager with experience in construction, who prides themselves on excellent time management, organisational and communication skills. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager / Surveyor in the construction industry, with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects and managing facility operations.
  • CSCS & SMSTS (Or Equivalent)
  • Proficiency using google workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Experience in fire Safety, fire Stopping and conducting fire door surveys.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the administration of contracts (E.g. NEC, ICE & JCT suite of contracts).
  • Thorough understanding of current building regulations, CDM regulations & local authority planning principals.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator - the ability to nurture strong relationships internally and externally is key.
  • A competent problem solver who makes things happen with attention to detail.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Previous experience of working with project management programs such as Microsoft planner, Adobe, Sketch-up, CAD.
  • H&S trained, preferably IOSH qualification.
  • Formal qualification in building surveying or construction.
  • Prince/NVQ L6 (or equivalent) in construction management
