Description
WHO WE ARE We’re not in the wing business. We’re in the flavor business. It’s been our mission to Serve the World Flavor since we first opened in 1994, and we’re just getting started. 1997 saw the opening of our first brand partner operated Wingstop location, and by 2002 we had served the world one billion wings. It’s flavor that defines us and has made Wingstop one of the fastest growing brands in the restaurant industry. Above all else – our success is largely due to our people and our core values, or what we call The Wingstop Way of being entrepreneurial, service-minded, fun, and authentic. We believe having a strong people foundation centered on these collective values creates a crave-worthy culture and talented team, as well as ensures our brand is poised for accelerated growth. We all win together.    WHAT WE'LL NEED We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to monitor the construction process of our Brand Partner (aka, franchised) restaurants.  This role is vital to the success of both new construction and remodels in many ways, including the assurance of the Wingstop brand’s prototypical standards. This role will be remote.   RESPONSIBLITIES: * Monitor the development/construction of new stores.  * Manage General Contractors, and Vendors relationships. * Manage General Contractor, and vendor schedules, timelines, and deliveries, while providing quality control assurance of the brand’s prototypical standards. * Interface with GC’s working on various phases of multiple projects to ensure Wingstop Standards are being met for all Brand Partner restaurants. * Track and control construction and vendor schedules to achieve completion of projects within adequate timeframes for successful, on-time openings.  * Review progress reports and pictures, check on any reported difficulties, and correct other reported deficiencies. * Regularly review, communicate, and provide reports on progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated to Wingstop team and Brand Partners * Build relationships with internal & external cross-functional teams and communicate effectively. * Review and advise Brand Partners of change orders and additional fee collections from approved vendors and/or GC’s. * Coordinate the décor element installation with GC’s and procurement with vendors. * Coordinate final inspection with GC’s and Brand Partners and create required punch list to be completed prior to all new restaurant openings. * Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks. * Identify and communicate new ideas and solutions to create efficiencies in the operation. * Represent the Wingstop brand in a professional, polished manner always. * Other duties as assigned.   WHAT YOU'LL NEED * Frequent use of a computer and other technology essential to the successful completion of your everyday role responsibilities, often in a seated position. * Frequent use of mental energy while expressing or exchanging ideas and information with colleagues, Brand Partners, and extended Wingstop team. * Routine use of physical energy while traveling throughout the region (50-75%). * Ability to shift and balance priorities across multiple projects, while ensuring deadlines are met, quality maintained, and urgency upheld. * Preferred location: Midwestern or Southwestern United States (remote)   WHO YOU ARE No job is too small. You recognize that the real work happens in the restaurants, and everything we do should support their success. You stay humble, roll up your sleeves, and always look for ways to support. You learn from others and contribute wherever you can. You care deeply about doing great work and driving results. You’re curious, ask questions, and seek out opportunities to improve. You don’t just point out problems—you bring solutions, ideas, and perspectives that move the team forward. You take full responsibility for your work and see things through to completion. You aren’t afraid to fail because you know that failure is a part of learning and growth. You take action, move fast, and keep pushing forward. You lead with empathy, respect, and emotional intelligence. You collaborate effectively, fostering a culture of trust and constructive feedback.
