Oversees project construction carried out by contractors working on Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) construction projects to ensure compliance with state & federal regulations. Conducts site evaluations & drafts scopes of work &/or project specifications; Consults with contractors & consultants to review proposals, scopes of work & plans. Evaluates, collects data & gathers all information needed to determine any building issues such as deterioration, maintenance, safety &/or Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance. Oversees routine maintenance projects including floor cleaning, carpet installation, emergency generators, etc. Handles special OSHP equipment such as above ground storage tanks & emergency generators & monitors these programs for yearly inspections & compliance requirements.
