What You'll Do: Ohio Department of Public Safety - Director's Office/Facility Management Report in location: 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43223 Work hours: 8:00 am - 5:00pm Perks of Working for the Ohio Department of Public Safety Multiple pay increases over your first years of service! Oversees project construction carried out by contractors working on Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) construction projects to ensure compliance with state & federal regulations. Conducts site evaluations & drafts scopes of work &/or project specifications; Consults with contractors & consultants to review proposals, scopes of work & plans. Evaluates, collects data & gathers all information needed to determine any building issues such as deterioration, maintenance, safety &/or Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance. Oversees routine maintenance projects including floor cleaning, carpet installation, emergency generators, etc. Handles special OSHP equipment such as above ground storage tanks & emergency generators & monitors these programs for yearly inspections & compliance requirements.
