Job Title: Construction Quality Assurance Inspector Location: Lima, Peru Project Name: Quality Assurance Inspector in Lima, Peru  Client: USACE Mobile District Pay Range: $110K - $140K per year plus benefits Anticipated Start Date: May/ June 2026 Project Duration: 3-year term (Base Year + 2 options) Project Details (Size, SOW, Site Background, etc.): Construction Management Services are Required to Support the Latin America Office in Lima,Peru with one Quality Assurance Representative on site.  Construction operations may include new construction, modification, expansion, etc. involving heavy civil utility projects, road repairs, industrial waste    treatment facilities, renovation of industrial facilities, and other miscellaneous modifications and improvements. Daily Responsibilities:  * As a Construction Control Representative, incumbent is responsible for monitoring the contractors and quality control and inspection program for assigned construction projects. Prepares Quality Assurance Reports for assigned projects. * Reviews project plans and specifications prior to and during the construction period to determine practicability from construction standpoint and whether physical obstructions or other construction difficulties have been anticipated. * Consults with advisors, contractors, subcontractor's key personnel on problems relating to construction and installation of equipment. Requires considerable coordination with using agency and occupants, contractor personnel, etc. * By personal surveillance at work site assures that progress is being maintained, and the construction and installation is in accordance with good engineering and construction practices. * Acts as technical advisor for assigned projects. The incumbent resolves problems that involve conflict between the plans and specifications and the actual installation of various systems. The incumbent makes revisions which are usually acted upon by engineers. * Reviews technical data and furnishes information for progress reports, prepares data for processing of pay estimates such as quantities of materials or installations included in construction and percentages of work completed. * Maintains contract data for Construction Data Base (Resident Management System) located in the Resident Office. * Investigates need for contract change orders, considering conditions of work site, field measurements and computations, makes rough drafts for issuance of change orders, prepares estimates and participates in negotiations. * Reports situations in controversy with contractor which may lead to formal claims by contractor. Responsible for inspecting work areas to ensure that contractor is complying with both the Corps of Engineer's Safety Requirements and the contractor's Accident Prevention plan; for calling unsafe conditions and practices to attention of contractor representative; and for noting corrections taken on daily reports or forms provided. Required Qualifications (Experience, Education, Certifications, Clearances, etc.): * Construction Inspector - more than 10 years of experience as a construction project inspector on large complex multimillion dollar DoD construction projects.   * Experience using Microsoft Office and experience using RMS.  This position may require frequent and recurring construction inspections, which includes walking, climbing, stooping, and bending at various elevations and uneven terrain.  Preferred Qualifications: * Experience on USACE Projects
