Job Title: Quality Control Manager
Region: Western USA
Reporting To: Superintendents and Project Manager’s (PM)
Responsible For: Overseeing a team of quality control professionals for projects ranging up to $20 million. Also responsible for ensuring quality control and required administrative reports are completed per Federal, State, and HHI Corporation.
Job Purpose: To ensure quality of work and compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and company policies. Understand and exercise the authority to act in all CQC matters. Provide safety support.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • OSHA 30 hours Training
  • Corps Of Engineer training
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent plan and specification reading skills
  • Well-developed organizational skills
  • Honest
  • Dependable
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Must pass government security clearance standards
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen test if hired
  • Good driving record, valid license - insurable through the company
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct site walks and inspections to identify and rectify poor quality or non-conforming work.
  2. Enforce safety plans outlining the scope and mandated requirements while operating on the site.
  3. Teach or facilitate training in various areas that are required for each project.
  4. Conduct mishap investigations and reporting procedures to HHI and government entities.
  5. Prepare and report any plans or documentation required for each site in quality control reports.
  6. Be able to research, interpret, and implement various regulations and requirements.
  7. Create and execute a Project Quality Control Plan
  8. Lead 3 phase quality meetings
  9. Record and log testing and inspections done on site
