JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Construction and Renovation Estimator to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including renovations and new builds. This role requires evaluating project requirements, including materials, labour, and the scope of work, to provide competitive and reliable bids. This individual will work closely with the Civil Engineer & Operations Manager on the cost estimation, which has to be in line with the scope.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a construction or renovation estimator, within Dubai or the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of local construction costs, labour rates, and market conditions.
• Proficiency in using estimation software and tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Must have a UAE Driving License.
• Experience costing small to large size projects across Civil Works, MEP, full fit-out in Residential and Commercial sectors.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Familiarity with design and planning processes.
• Knowledge of sustainable and cost-effective materials.

• Analyse project documents and assess the size, scope, and specific requirements of construction or renovation projects.
• Candidate must attend Site Visits.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates by considering materials, labour, equipment, and overhead expenses.
• Research and source pricing for materials and labour while factoring in market conditions.
• Collaborate with in house civil engineer, operations manager, designers, architects, and project managers to optimize project plans and budgets.
• Adjust estimates based on design changes, market trends, or client requests.
• Present bids and cost breakdowns to clients in a clear and professional manner.
