Description Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide service provider specializing in commercial skilled trade services and tenant improvement projects. We are currently seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to help ensure compliance with safety standards and to promote a safe, healthy work environment. In this role, you will work closely with both the service and construction field teams to identify potential hazards, enforce safety protocols, and ensure adherence to all applicable safety regulations. The Safety Coordinator will be provided with a company vehicle and gas card, as well as the flexibility to begin their workday from their home office. The position offers a flexible schedule that includes one weekend day and various shift times. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commercial electrical and plumbing practices. Responsibilities Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of jobsites, personnel, equipment and buildings Provide job-specific training (e.g., fall protection, confined space entry, equipment certifications) Respond to and investigate workplace incidents Complete reports, determine root causes, and recommend preventative measures Keep detailed records of training, inspections, incidents, and compliance documents Stay current on local, state, and federal safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ANSI) Travel as needed to S. California or out of state locations Available to work various shifts including weekends Additional duties and special projects may be assigned as needed to support the overall safety program and organizational goals Requirements Minimum of one year of field experience in construction safety Knowledge of CAL/OSHA and ANSI regulations Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field (preferred) OSHA 30 certification (preferred) Above-average communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver’s license with no more than two points or driving restrictions on record Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a service and construction company providing customer service throughout California and other states.
