OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a safe working environment by implementing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization. This position is essential in identifying potential hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a safety officer or similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction management software is a plus, as it aids in tracking safety compliance and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey safety information to employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing risks and developing effective solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with management to create a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in safety regulations.
