WHAT YOU'LL DO: Conduct routine site visits and assist with basic safety inspections and reporting. Support incident reporting and documentation, including follow‑up actions where required. Participate in JOHS activities and help with agendas, minutes, and action tracking. Assist in preparing toolbox talks, safety bulletins, posters, and other safety communications. Learn and use H&S systems such as SiteDocs and BambooHR to maintain safety records and documentation. Help keep safety programs, policies, WHMIS/SDS information, and COR audit materials up to date. Contribute to the development and maintenance of safety plans, forms, and templates used across project sites. Provide day‑to‑day support to the Safety Team to help maintain a consistent, compliant, and effective safety program. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: An OHS certificate, diploma, or degree, with motivation to gain hands‑on field experience in a real‑world environment. No minimum experience required; field or construction experience is considered an asset. Valid Class 5 driver’s license. Strong relationship‑building skills, with a curious, question‑driven mindset and willingness to continuously learn. High attention to detail with strong accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities. Strong follow‑up, task‑tracking, and documentation skills. Ability to manage time pressure, shifting priorities, and multiple tasks effectively. Strong organizational and prioritization abilities. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with H&S software such as SiteDocs is considered an asset. Openness to learning, improving processes, and adapting to a dynamic field environment.
