Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Construction Site Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day activities of our excavation projects. This role will be responsible for coordinating construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, particularly in excavation and site preparation work, and will be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily activities on the construction site to ensure smooth operations and the completion of tasks in alignment with project timelines.
  • Manage and oversee excavation crews, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site managers to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain an organized site, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are available for the team.
  • Monitor and ensure that all excavation work complies with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with workers, subcontractors, and clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns or issues as they arise.
  • Prepare and maintain site documentation, including daily reports, equipment logs, safety inspection records, aggregates delivered, trucking invoices, change orders.
  • Resolve any on-site problems related to logistics, materials, and personnel in a timely manner.
  • Assist with procurement of materials and supplies as needed.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and project specifications.
  • Ensure proper storage and maintenance of equipment and machinery on-site.

Requirements:

  • Post Graduate Project management or CET(Civil Engineering is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a site coordinator, supervisor, or similar role in construction, specifically excavation.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with construction software or project management tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) is a plus.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physical tasks when needed.
  • OSHA certification (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods of time.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
