Responsibilities

Gyptech is seeking a “Construction” Site Manager to join our team to oversee the site installation and commissioning of large-scale industrial manufacturing projects for a worldwide customer base. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, your role will involve:

  • Involvement through the complete project life cycle from concept to commissioning and customer sign off
  • Resolving complex or technical issues, managing client relations and mitigating risks to ensure the project adheres to contractual, budgetary and scheduling goals
  • Preparing tender packages, including scope of work for all trades
  • Tender analysis and awarding contracts related to all aspects of the project
  • Coordinating contractors on site
  • Conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality is being delivered, site conditions and project schedules are being maintained
  • Managing change requests throughout the duration of the project
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining the construction phase plan including sub plans (Safety, Logistics, access etc.)
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety procedures and practices.
  • Coordinating with the customer and their teams and interfacing between various internal, external and client groups
